Daisy Chainsaw Official Release
I should've made this post a long time ago, and honestly it's been so long since the last major update to Daisy Chainsaw that I don't remember what all the changes and updates in this version are. But I will do my best!
First:
Daisy Chainsaw has been completely edited by a real editor! Two, in some cases! Yay! Thank you, Matt K and Jarrett Crader. Jarrett is also going to be printing Daisy Chainsaw with Space Penguin Ink, and the print files are being fixed as I type this. They'll be available in May.
Second:
The central resolution mechanic was overhauled a bit. Instead of roll and keep, you roll a dice pool and count hits based on your Primary and Secondary statistic. This is a lot easier to keep track of than doing a lot of math at the table, and the dice you keep directly translate to how much harm you do to an enemy.
Third:
I added the Hat and Roller Skates weapons. They're very fun weapons and I hope people enjoy them. Hat is a pet class, which means you have another being to control using your actions, and they have their own HP and such to keep track of. Roller Skates is kinda like an evasion tank - they have a few damage reduction abilities, and some random status effect abilities, and are overall one of my favs.
There will not be further updates to the Daisy Chainsaw text after this. I believe everything has been resolved. In the future I may release another edition as I learn more, but for now expect expanded content in separate books/pdfs/adventures/what have you. I'm currently working on a post-apocalyptic themed splat with radiation rules and a small campaign~
Thanks everyone for your support!
