Titanic Eclipse Edition Preview: Supplement Zine #3
Hi there! It’s once again time to talk supplements we’re adding for Celestial Bodies’ upcoming kickstarter!
Unlike previous entries in this series, this one is straight from us - no collaborators here. One thing we’ve gotten a few inquiries about since Titan Edition’s release is playing as one of the 21 (currently!) factions. What does that even look like? How does that square with the rest of the game? We figured this was the kind of thing that’s neat, but not worth getting into in the main text as the primary game mode. In other words, it’s perfect for this!
This zine will provide a starting point for playing as each faction in the book. What does that mean? Where does that start you? And so on. But how will that even work given that some of these factions are way more prominent than others? A major part of this effort is thinking about ways to scope the game up and down: expanding home-ship construction methods to account for multiple home-ships, but also accounting for NO home-ship. Ideally this provides some real ideas to flesh out that aspect of the game even if you don’t end up playing as one of the factions.
So go follow that kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/88544910/celestial-bodies-1
